  AIMS AND SCOPE
 

The INNOVATION AND PRODUCTIVE TRANSFERENCE JOURNAL is a scientific publication of the Technological Institute of Production (ITP) dedicated to disseminating results of basic and applied research, technological development, innovation and technology transference in the various productive sectors considering contributions in the engineering sciences, with a priority focus on technology, engineering, textile engineering, food technology and industry. RITP is available to the community in general, scientists for the dissemination of their findings, decision makers as evidence for their actions and the general public to accompany the advancement of science in the productive sector. 

The INNOVATION AND PRODUCTIVE TRANSFERENCE JOURNAL is an open access and peer-reviewed journal that publishes articles by national and foreign authors, in Spanish, Portuguese and English.

The Journal is biannual, first number in January-June and the second in July-December. The focus of the publications is both regional and international. Original research articles, review articles and letters to the editor are admited for publication free of charge.



 

   JOURNAL SECTIONS
 
  • EDITORIAL: They are presented at the request of the Editorial Chief, their content will refer to the articles published in the same number of the journal, or will deal with a topic of interest according to the editorial policy. This section accepts a maximum of 1,500 words and is not peer-reviewed.

  • REVIEW: A concise presentation of the most recent literature (or state of the art) on the subject being reviewed by an expert(s) on the subject. The content includes: introduction, different sections with the main contributions of the subject, conclusions and references. This section accepts an abstract of a maximum of 250 words and a length of the document between 3,500 and 7,000 words and is peer-reviewed.

  • ORIGINAL ARTICLE: Presentation of original and unpublished results of research work. They are research articles on topics of interest for the objectives of the journal, developed with solidity, originality, current affairs and reflect a clear and coherently articulated argumentation. This section accepts an abstract of a maximum of 250 words and is peer-reviewed.

  • LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Section open to all readers of the Journal who send contributions that complement or discuss original or short original articles published in the last issue of the Journal. In these cases, up to three authors are allowed. The journal's editorial policy allows the aforementioned authors to make a reply. This section accepts a maximum of 500 words and is not peer-reviewed.
