Abstract

The purpose of the present investigation was to obtain yellow pigment from the colli inflorescence for its application and evaluation in the dyeing of alpaca fiber. Based on this, it was proposed to determine the effects of the colli inflorescence (Buddleja coriacea) natural dye on the color fastness of alpaca fiber dyeing. The applied methodology is experimental and the type of research is explanatory, we worked with 8 treatments and 2 repetitions in total of 16 treatments, the dyeing tests and the fastness evaluations were carried out in the laboratories of the CITE textile Camelids Puno of the Technological Institute of the production; data collection was through technical sheets; Experiments were made at a laboratory level with the dye extracted from the colli inflorescence. To obtain different results, work was done by modifying the mordant concentration factors, time and temperature of the dyeing process. According to the results, a wide range of yellow shades were dyed. In the sunlight color fastness test, the main effects are the factors B (time) with a p-value = 0.048 <0.05 and C (temperature) with a p-value = 0.000 <0.05, these two factors dominate the process, explaining 91.52% of the total variability.
